FTI Mag Drive

Finish Thompson, FTI offers a wide selection of inline chemical process centrifugal pumps. Pumps are available in thermoplastic and stainless steel materials, mechanical sealed or mag drive seal-less designs for horizontal and vertical applications. Rugged construction provides excellent chemical and corrosion resistance. Back pull-out feature allows easy service. Typical applications are chemical processing, metal plating, parts washing systems, printed circuit board manufacturing, photo processing, pharmaceuticals, wet scrubbers, semi-conductors, etc.

FTI also manufacturers Drum Pumps for Industrial and commercial customers so they can safely transfer hard-to-handle acids, chemicals and solvents with a Finish Thompson drum / barrel pump. Ergonomically designed for ease in handling, FTI's drum / barrel pumps provide exceptional performance at competitive pricing. Air, electric, weatherproof, TEFC and explosion-proof motors are interchangeable with pumps for greater application flexibility.

Finish Thompson Inc. is a designer and manufacturer of industrial duty, corrosion resistant, chemical process pumps, drum and barrel pumps, solvent and engine coolant recyclers. FTI products are manufactured on site in Erie, Pennsylvania, U.S.A. and marketed worldwide through an international network of stocking distributors.

From its beginning in 1951 as a designer and builder of custom decorating equipment, to its current position as a growing supplier of fluid transfer pumps and recycling systems for the fluid handling and environmental markets, Finish Thompson has proven to be highly intuitive in projecting and reacting to changing market demands

DB Sealless Magnetic Drive Centrifugal Pumps

FTI / Finish Thompson DB Sealless Magnetic Drive Centrifugal Pumps are the standard for hydraulic efficiency & corrosive fluid handling: Rugged construction, easy drive set up, hours of run dry, 5-year warranty, highest efficiency, strongest neodymium magnets. Finish Thompson FTI DB Series lowers your cost of ownership by reducing your utility cost. Up to 70% efficent and will reduce your operating costs. With the FTI DB Series carbon bushing, you can run dry for hours without damage. Testing has shown that the temperature of the shaft remains cool during run dry, allowing the user to immediatly let fluid flow into the pump without wasting time for it to cool down.

Designed from the ground up to be a chemical process pump, all bearing surfaces of the DB absorb any loads from hydraulic and other forces, with a robust wall thickness on the suction end to ensure the integrity of the pump housing and allowing the user to directly attach pipe.

UC Heavy Duty Magnetic Drive Centrifugal Pumps

FTI / Finish Thompson UC Heavy Duty Magnetic Drive Centrifugal Pumps Ultra Reliable - Engineered for extreme reliability in the most extreme chemical processing applications, Finish Thompson’s ULTRAChem® is a magnetically driven, ANSI dimensional pump constructed from tough ductile iron with DuPont Tefzel® (ETFE) lining for superior corrosion resistance.

Ultra Durable - Modified concentric volute or partial splitter, minimized hydraulic radial thrust loads, balanced hydraulic axial thrust loads, prevention of “pre-rotation” under low flows, reduced turbulence on the impeller, and optimum bushing alignment… these are just some of the features designed into the ULTRAChem Series pumps to ensure optimum pump life.

Ultra Sealless - Powerful neodymium magnets drive the impeller through a carbon-filled ETFE lined barrier for dependable, leak-free operation with no environmental emissions, no double mechanical seal costs, and no seal support systems.

SP Sealless Self Priming Mag Drive Centrifugal Pumps

FTI / Finish Thompson SP Series Self Priming Centrifugal Pumps - Big on power, yet short on energy consumption, the SP Series from Finish Thompson is one of the most versatile and economical centrifugal pumps on the market.

The SP series is perfect for applications difficult for ordinary centrifugal pumps, such as pumping fluid from below grade, emptying tanker trucks or rail cars, transferring fluids from the top of tall bulk storage tanks to reduce the possibility of leaks from sidewall-mounted bulkhead fittings, overcoming piping systems that tend to have trapped or entrained air, or when optimum run-dry protection is needed.

The exclusive SP Series combines deep-lift capabilities (up to 25 feet/7.6 meters) and lightning-fast priming (18 feet/5.5 meters in 90 seconds) with the advantages of magnetic drive technology, ensuring ease of operation with no seal replacement, no leaks and the capability to run dry without damage. Its innovative design and corrosion-resistant materials make the SP Series ideal for handling even the most difficult applications.
